چکیده
Silicon-germanium (SiGe) is a material that possesses multitude of applications ranging from transistors to electro-optical modulators and quantum dots. The diverse properties SiGe also make it attractive implementations involving superconducting computing. Here, we demonstrate the fabrication transmon bits on layers investigate microwave loss at cryogenic temperatures single photon powers. We find relaxation times up 100 μs, corresponding quality factor Q above 4 M for large pad transmons. high values obtained indicate SiGe/Si heterostructure compatible with state-of-the-art performance circuits.

Coherent controlization using superconducting qubits.
Coherent controlization, i.e., coherent conditioning of arbitrary single- or multi-qubit operations on the state of one or more control qubits, is an important ingredient for the flexible implementation of many algorithms in quantum computation. This is of particular significance when certain subroutines are changing over time or when they are frequently modified, such as in decision-making alg...

متن کاملType-II Quantum computing Using superconducting Qubits
Most algorithms designed for quantum computers will not best their classical counterparts until they are implemented with thousands of qubits. For example, the factoring of binary numbers with a quantum computer is estimated to be faster than a classical computer only when the length of the number is greater than about 500 digits [1]. In contrast, the Factorized Quantum Lattice-Gas Algorithm (F...
